Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Missed Call Rescue, the call answering and message forwarding service provided by Veteran Tech Solutions LLC ("we", "us"). Signing up for the service means you accept them. New customers sign up at missedcallrescue.co/signup.html, which is the order form and signature for these terms.

What the service does

We answer calls forwarded to us from your business line, collect the caller's name, callback number, and a description of the job, and send you a text summary. We are an answering and message service. We do not quote prices, schedule work, dispatch crews, or make commitments on your behalf unless you have asked us to in writing.

If you subscribe to the CRM plan, we also keep a record of each caller and their status for you, remind you about callers still waiting, and answer the commands and questions you text us. If you subscribe to the Booking plan, that is your written request for us to offer callers appointment times based on the availability you give us and to place confirmed bookings on your calendar. You are responsible for keeping that availability current and for honoring or rescheduling the appointments we book.

Not for emergencies

The service is not an emergency line. Callers with a gas leak, fire, medical emergency, or other danger should hang up and call 911. Do not use the service as the only point of contact for emergency dispatch.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for setting up call forwarding with your carrier, for keeping your callback number current, and for the accuracy of the greeting and script you approve. You are responsible for returning the calls we pass to you.

You agree not to use the service for anything unlawful, or to send messages through us that would violate telemarketing or messaging rules.

Text message alerts

Text messages are how the service delivers your leads, but receiving them is your choice and is not a condition of signing up. If you opt in (with the separate, optional box on our signup form, or by texting START to (719) 967-8292), Missed Call Rescue texts the cell numbers you give us: call summaries, missed-call alerts, follow-up reminders and daily summaries if your plan includes them, and account notices. Every message comes from Missed Call Rescue at (719) 967-8292 and goes only to you, the account holder. Frequency depends on your call volume, typically up to about 300 messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop (alerts pause until you reply START) or HELP for help. See our text alerts page for the details.

We do not text your callers. Features that would (for example booking by text) require your business to hold its own carrier registration and are offered under separate terms when they are available to you.

Automated assistant and call recording

Calls to your line are answered by an automated assistant, and our greeting tells callers so. Calls are recorded and transcribed so we can send you the summary and a link to the audio. You agree to keep that notice in your greeting and not to ask us to remove it.

Billing

The service is billed monthly in advance. There is no long-term contract. You can cancel at any time and the service ends at the close of the billing month you have paid for. We do not prorate partial months.

Availability

We work to keep the service running around the clock, but it depends on telephone carriers, internet hosting, and other providers we do not control. We do not promise uninterrupted service and we are not liable for calls missed during an outage.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or other indirect damages.

Content and ownership

Caller information collected for your business belongs to you. The Missed Call Rescue name, software, prompts, scripts, and this website belong to Veteran Tech Solutions LLC. You may not copy, resell, or reverse engineer them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Las Animas County, Colorado.
